Artist Bio: 
Kojiro Funazaki was born in Hyogo prefecture and studied Japanese-style painting and later woodblock prints. He exhibited with the Nihon Hanga Kyôkai between 1931 and 1935. He was a member of that society until 1941. Kojiro was one of the artists to contribute to the series entitled 'One Hundred Views of New Japan' (Shin Nihon Hyakkei), a rare series published by members of the Nihon Hanga Kyôkai in an edition of 50 between 1938 and 1941. His favorite subjects were flowers.
