The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:
"Kameido Bridge"print in very good condition. The woodblock is as shown in the pictures. Colors are strong vibrant with strong bleed-though verso . Clean backside, which has areas where the print was afixed/litely in the corners and top then taken off.The woodblock print is Oban size measuring 14" x 9.5". The publisher seal is visible lower right.. Overall size of the paper is approx 10.5" x 16". Impression is very fine, skillfully executed "bokashi" shading; lifelike reflection, crisply detailed lines. This is a prize print which is rare and difficult to obtain. This print was given to my mother in the 1930s and kept in its presentation folder. Actual pink is crisp and bright…working on better pictures. The darker images are not correct. |

| Artist Bio: |
Published via Takemura Hideo in the 1930s. We originally read the signature scrawl as 彰世 (Akiyo) but a recently discovered print has an artist seal that clearly reads 朝花 (Choka) - see item 47147 in the database.
