Title and publisher's seals at the upper right corner. No artist seal but is similar in style to Hiroshige's works. Note the dating of 1931/32 (see item #44487), probably Christmas 1931. This would be the earliest Takemura-published print I have seen. |

HOUSE SURROUNDED WITH WATER, MT.FUJI IN BACKGROUND, LADY WITH UMBRELLA CROSSING LAND BRIDGE GOING TOWARD HOUSE. COLORS OF WOODBLOCK ARE DISTINCT AND PURE. VERY ATTRACTIVE. WOULD LOOK VERY NICE FRAMED. DOES NOT GIVE THE ILLUSION OF A CHRISTMAS CARD FROM THE PICTURE ALONE |
