Notes (this edition)?
The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:

This is a large, original 1959, limited edition woodblock print by the eminent 20th century Japanese artist Shuzo Ikeda (1922-2004), depicting a young woman with Ikeda's characteristically exaggerated eyes and flowing line. As is also characteristic of Ikeda's work it is titled with the sequential number in his oeuvre, "No. 383". It is number 14 of an edition of 20.

The image area measures 17¾" x 11¾" (paper size 19¾" x 13½"). The title, date and edition sequence is in pencil in the lower margin. The print is in good condition with mild toning. The thin paper does have some creases along the edges, but in general these do not extend into the image area. The print appears never to have been mounted, and verso shows good bleedthrough. The accompanying photos should provide an adequate sense of these conditions.
