Subject: 'February' from a set of the twelve months. Against a pale silver mica background, the bust portrait of an exquisitely delicate Showa bijin holding back a curtain. Date: c.1920's 昭和美女姿競　梅見月　早春 作品サイズ　　38.0×26.0 渡辺幾春の昭和美女姿競は12点の作品が確認されていますが 版元が不明で制作時期も昭和初期とだけされています。 作品は雲母摺りでそのため保存のよい物はあまり見かけることができません。

	Artist Bio:	渡辺幾春　watanabe ikuharu 明治28年（１８９５）～昭和50年（１９７５） 明治二十八年、名古屋市西区江川端町に生まる。九歳で名古屋の日本画家水谷芳年に絵を学ぶ。明治四十三年、名古屋市立第一高等小学校卒業後、京都に出て山本春挙に師事。大正七年、第12回文展に《百日紅》が初入選。大正11年、京都市立絵画専門学校別科に入学する。大正十四年卒業後、名古屋市中区に居を移し、名古屋在住の朝見香城、喜多村麦子、織田杏逸らと当地方の日本画の革新を求めて中京美術院を創設。昭和九年、三十九歳で東京に転居の後も、文展に入選するなど実力を発揮する。昭和二十七年、名古屋市千種区徳川山町三丁目に居を移す。中京画壇を代表する日本画家。
