	Notes (first edition)?:	Fine Larger Original Watercolor by Fukutaro Terauchi This atmospheric landscape by Fukutaro Terauchi captures a snowy evening in a provincial Japanese village, with a farmer pulling a cart past what may be a Ryokan; the whole scene is lit by reflective light from the snow. Measures 11.75 inches x 16.625 inches sheet size. Signed lower left. We have tested this painting and we warrant that it is an original watercolor, and that it is by Fukutaro Terauchi. Condition: very good. Neither of the Terauchi watercolors we’re auctioning are laid down or glued at any point, and have not been in the past. Sheet has a .75-inch strip of slight toning on top edge, and about ¼” of toning on both left and right edges, almost undetectable. The back shows toning from a former wooden backing, as seen in the photo above (top left). Shipped flat, unframed.
