HIS ART HAS SOLD INTERNATIONALLY AT THE MAJOR AUCTION HOUSES: BUTTERFIELD & BUTTERFIELD, SOTHEBY'S AND ELDED'S. HE ALSO LIVED IN PARIS. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE PIECE - IT IS NOT A PRINT, ITS THE REAL DEAL! THE DETAIL IS OVER THE TOP. PAINTED ON PAPER. SIGNED M. KAWAKUBO IN THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER. NOT DATED, BUT FROM THE AGE OF THE PAPER, I WOULD PLACE THIS ITS AGE TO THE EARLY PART OF THE FIRST HALF OF THE 20th CENTURY. THIS IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE WITH NO DAMAGE, NO PROBLEMS. PAPER (FROM THE REVERSE SIDE) IS TONED FROM AGE. MEASURES: 18 7/8" (48cm) x 12 3/4" (32cm)
