Original Takeuchi Seiho (1864 - 1942) Japanese Woodblock Print
Autumn Scene

Comments - Attractive scene of the countryside in autumn, with leaves changing color and falling to the ground. A farmer goes about his duties at left outside a traditional home with a thatched roof. Lovely color and beautiful shading in this serene image, with the tree trunks and branches drawn in delicate gray strokes. A lovely little woodblock.

Condition - With excellent color and detail. Backed with a stiff board. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
