Original 20th century Japanese Woodblock Print
Japanese Flag in a Snowstorm

Comments - Intriguing shin hanga woodblock depicting a tattered Japanese flag flying in a snowstorm. Slanting lines of snow blow across the wintry blue sky, rendered in delicate streaks of silver mica with hand-applied dots of white pigment. A very beautifully printed image with delicate gradations of color.

Artist - 20th century artist (not translated)
Image Size - 9 1/4" x 13 1/2" + margins as shown
Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Very slight creasing at left and right sides. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
