Portrait of Fritz Bilsinger
Paper size: 52.7 x 67 cm. Self-printed ca. 1950. Number 11 from an edition of 20.

These are the bare details. Research has shown (so far) that Mr and Ms Bilsinger, who lived in New England, commissioned Sekino to make their portraits. When they were ready the Bilsingers weren't satisfied. They kept only four copies of each and destroyed the rest. One of these four sets was sent back to Sekino (on his request), and this is the set offered here.
Much more information is available, do not hesitate to ask me.

Euro 11000

Fine impression and colours, very good condition: some light smudging of the borders, a few shallow printer's creases. Otherwise very careful printing (with mica), deep saturation, gorgeous colours.

Only sold as a pair, and the price is for the two together

Exceptionally rare: as far as I know, not shown in the literature anywhere!
