We are offering you a Stunningly BEAUTIFUL Shin Hanga Japanese Woodblock print depicting people on boats about ready to engage in or observe what appears to be some sort of nightime ceremony involving ducks or geese that are tied together. The scene is dramtized by the artist with wonderful, deep blue colors, contrasted by the burning orange / red torches and the light reflecting off the lake.

Unfortunately I am unable to discern the signature or seal of who the artist might be.

Red seal, lower right corner of the print, with more Japanese kanji in the upper and lower right margin which I have done my best to photograph for you.

This print is OLD and I recently bought it out of an OLD San Diego estate unframed and is NOT a recent copy or reproduction.



CONDITION

Please read CAREFULLY:

~ EXCELLENT; the print is in remarkably clean condition with NO visual issues to the top or back of the print.

~ Left and Bottom margins appear to have been trimmed and vary in measurement, measuring 1/8" to 1/4". Top and Right margins vary in measurement, measuring 5/8" to 7/8".

~ The paper is NOT toned, and does NOT bear any evidence of foxing whatsoever.

Nice color bleed through on the backside of the print.

The actual impression measures 10.5" tall by
15.5" wide.
