The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:

Thursday, 2 April 2009

Up for auction out of a recent estate in Hawaii this Pre – WW II original Japanese woodblock print depicting Mount Fuji from Lake Hakone by the artist Choka (signature) that was published by Takemura Hideo. The condition is good no rips or tears but toned and soiled.

Measurements:

10 ½ inches x 15 ½ inches

Artist Bio:
Published via Takemura Hideo in the 1930s. We originally read the signature scrawl as 彰世 (Akiyo) but a recently discovered print has an artist seal that clearly reads 朝花 (Choka) - see item 47147 in the database.
