Here's an original watercolor on paper signed by Y. Matsumoto an early 20th Century artist from Japan...Depicts a country scene with two travelers...and what I imagine is Mount Fuji in the background...Western style...I came across this piece at the house of a man who traveled the world extensively before and after the Second World War...He purchased this artwork in Peru sometime in the 1920's/30'S I believe...Bears a Japanese dealer's label from Lima....Original back paper held in place with tape...Image size 9.5" by 12.75"...Subtle tones...No apparent fading or staining
