Here is a very nice vintage framed Japanese watercolor landscape with a figure walking with boats in the water by listed Japanese artist "T. MASAMITSU". The actual watercolor measures 12.5" x 18.5" and is housed in the original wood picture frame measuring 18.5" x 24.5" and comes with the original glass. The watercolor is signed at RH bottom "T.Masamitsu" and is in VG~condition exhibiting no damage, the frame is also in good condition exhibiting only minor scuffing, the board the watercolor is mounted on (attached only along top) has some minor staining at the lower LH bottom corner but overall displays wonderfuLLy

Beautiful Japanese watercolor on paper titled “On the Shores of Lak Schuzensi” by Masamitsu. Circa 1st half 20th Century. Depicts a lone stroller on the shoreline of Lake Schuzensi watching small boats sailing on the lake. Signed lower right. Glass will be removed prior to shipping. Measures 25in x 19in overall and 18.5in x 12.5in sight. |
