19" x 25.5" Watercolor by well known turn of the Century Japanese artist J.S. Yamamoto. From around the Meiji Period and is one of the biggest watercolors that they produced in Japan at that time. It is not framed and has been laid down on board or it was painted on the board. He normally signed his name with a J.S. but this painting is signed J. Yamamoto. The artwork is in good condition for being around 90 years old, has some fading & toning |
