--Dr. Ross Walker,
My aunt was in the Navy and was stationed in Japan in the late 50's. These were among many things she bought when there. The prints came in a bamboo type frame and part of the backing behind the prints were newspapers pages dated 1958. ( Not sure on the exact date- I don't read Japanese, Maybe you can decipher!)
The size of both are 10 1/3 by 14 1/2. |
