Titled and dated in the lower left margin.
Publisher seals in the lower right margin: Doi Sadaichi, with Yokoi as printer and Kataoka as carver.
No post-war later editions are known to exist, and even pre-war strikes are extremely rare, so there is little doubt that only one edition was published by Doi Sadaichi, with another edition published via Iida Kunitaro. |

Very Rare and Fine Woodblock Print by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957):
Japan, 36.2cm x 24cm, Oban yoko-e (image only), 39.3cm x 26.3cm margins included.
This original print published by Doi Teiichi is a very fine and rare
with pre-war printed first edition.
Title; Oshima Habu no Minato (Habu port in Oshima) on the middle left margin,
Date; dated in Showa 12/7 (July 1937) on lower left margin (first edition),
Signature; signed Hasui and red seal on lower left,
Publisher; published by Doi Teiichi “A” seal and printed by Yokoi on lower right margin,
Condition; it is in excellent condition with strong color, impression, full margins. |
