Keisei (courtesan) by Mizuno Toshikata. Original Japanese woodblock kuchie print circa Meiji 33 (1900). Very good condition. Print has never been framed and still retains original bright colors. Strong ink bleedthrough on thin washi. Print measures 8.8 x 11.6 inches. Nice black lacquer ink and silver mica highlights. Compare to same print shown on page 346 of the book "Survey of Woodblock Kuchi-e Prints". |
