Publisher: 泉佐板
Date: originated c. 1795. ---------------------------------- This print depicts the courtesan Tagasode of the Daimonjiya house in the shin Yoshiwara, the licensed quarter of Edo. The coiffure of this design is beautifully drawn. The woman's head is half turned to the left, and she looks down pensively. In her right hand she holds a long, slender tobacco pipe to her lips.
