Note that there may be some inaccuracies: Monday, 29 October 2007 Title Green Heron in Snowy Moor Artist not identified Seal Artist's seal. Dated Ca. 1900-1910s. Medium/Technique Woodblock print. Impression Excellent - very good … Wood grains visible on the background. Colors Very good … Dark wash was applied on the print to lender the antique look. Condition Excellent - very good … Thin area along the top margin. Description "Sechu no Goisagi" (Heron in Snow). A green heron stands on a round straw hat on a reversed basket some traveller left in a cold, snowy day. The gust of wind scatters snow flakes and creates waves of withered reeds on the moor. Note Publisher's inventory number and seal (?) stamped on the back.
