Shin Hanga: Kamakura Daibutsu

Artist: Elizabeth Keith
Format: Dai oban tate-e: 19" x 14.5"

Subject: Elizabeth Keith's massive debut print, produced with the assistance of the eminent publisher Watanabe in 1919. Signed in red crayon by the artist. Numbered in the bottom margin 46 of the limited edition of 100. The blocks and half the stock of this superb design were destroyed in the earthquake of 1923. Elizabeth Keith's rarest design.
