This is a RARE Original Japanese watercolour Painting by KOBAYASHI TOKUSABURO. Kobayashi Tokusaburo, Japanese, watercolour, Cherry Blossom, c.1930.

A truly delightful watercolour from Kobayashi Tokusaburo, one of the Japanese masters of Western-style painting. The soft outlines and delicate colouirs perfectly captures the beauty of Japan’s famous cherry blossom on a soft Spring morning.

The watercolour, which is in very good condition, measures 32 x 49cm (12½” x 19¼”). It is offered in its original traditional Japanese frame which measures 45.5 x 62cm (18” x 24½”).(The glass has been removed for safety in transportation.)

Kobayashi Tokusaburo (1884-1949) Japanese painter and print-maker, studied under Japan’s most famous Western-style artist, Kuroda Seiki, at Tokyo School of Fine Arts. Best known for his watercolour landscapes. It would make an Ideal Addition to any Good Collection of Fine JAPANESE Original Art.
