Very Good Early 20th C. Japanese Watercolor - K. Seki
This is a beautiful Japanese watercolor, signed K. Seki and probably dating to circa 1920. The view is a garden scene with possibly a shrine in the background with wisteria and a lantern and vibrant flowering plants in the foreground. The overall size of this lovely painting is 13 1/2" x 20" with about a 3/16" margin all the way around. The condition is very good but there is minor evidence of a previous framing with very light toning |
