	Notes (first edition)?:	Wednesday, 16 August 2006 A Stunning Japanese watercolour, R. Aoki “Mt. Fuji at sunrise” c.1920. A wonderfully moody image of Japan’s most famous landmark. The work is watercolour (and, I think, crayon) on canvas, laid down on cardboard. It is signed “Aoki” This is the same artist who also signs “R. Aoki” and was active in the 1920s, and 1930s. The painting measures 13 x 19½ inches (32 x 48 cm). The painting is offered unframed. There are some framing marks at the very edge of the picture, but these would disappear when the work is reframed.
