Fine 19thC Japanese Watercolour Mount Fuji by SHUTNIN?
This lot is for an original signed watercolour of Mount Fuji. The artwork is signed in the bottom right Shutinin ? (not sure if this is correct please see photos), the approx image size is 34cm x 24 cm with an overall framed size of 54cm x 46cm. |

Shumin Ota (1884 – 15 May 1950) was a Japanese painter. His work was part of the painting event in the art competition at the 1936 Summer Olympics [from Wiki]. May have travelled or emigrated to Canada, because watercolour scenes of Canada exist.
