Beautiful Western-style Japanese impressionist watercolor signed Terauchi. This painting is probably by Fukutaro Terauchi, a pre-WW II Japanese painter and printmaker. It is extremely well-executed and is a very good example of the Western influence on Japanese painting. It is sighed lower left and is in excellent condition. 15.75" x 11" (image size). |
