Description "Yunan no Shukakuki" (Harvest in Yunan). A village scene from Yunan in South-West China. This province adjacent to Birma and Vietnam has developed into China's leading printmaking center. It is interesting that Joshua Rome obviously visited the province in 1985. This was around the beginning of the new wave of modern Chinese printmaking with Yunan artists such as Hao Ping, Chen Hsu, Ma Li, Zhang Xiaochun or Lü Min - to name just a few.
