Condition very good … the top edge pasted onto the original presentation paper, a dozen foxing on the margins, discoloration on the lower right margin corner.
Description "Kusaya" A type of dried Fish which has distinctive smell. It is reputed as a good companion food for "sake" or "shochu" (Japanese vodka) drinking.

Artist Bio: 

作家:馬渕 聖(まぶち とおる)    1920年(大正9年)生まれ、東京出身。    1994年(平成6年)歿、享年74歳。 1940年(昭和15年)東京美術学校在学中に光風会展初入選。 1941年(昭和16年)卒業制作「木版による自然物の装飾的表現」             文部省買上。 1951年(昭和26年)第7回日展に初入選。 1954年(昭和29年)日本版画協会(日版協)会員。 1957年(昭和32年)光風会会員。 1960年(昭和35年)日本版画会(日版会)創立に、             棟方志功らとともに参加。             日版協退会。 1967年(昭和42年)光風会評議員。 1971年(昭和46年)宮内庁用命により、須崎御用邸の為の             木版画4点制作。 東京美術学校工芸科図案部卒業。 日版会会長、鎌倉美術家協会理事長などを歴任。 東京、横浜、シカゴなどで個展開催多数。 シカゴ美術館、ボストン美術館など、海外美術館にも作品所蔵多数。
