Seal Artist's seal Dated 1953 Publisher Adachi Medium/Technique Woodblock print Impression excellent - very good Colors excellent - very good Condition very good … slight toning, slightly wrinkled, several needle size foxing on the margins, two tape residues from backside visible from the front on the top and the bottom margins. Description "Taisho-ike no Asa" (Lake Taisho in the morning). In the morning mist, the ghostly remnants of the dead trees are sticking out from the water surface. This lake was made when Mt.Yake was erupted in 1915 (Taisho era). Its volcanic debris stopped Katsura River to form the lake. Width Item 17.5 inches = 44.5 cm Height Item 12.9 inches = 32.8 cm
