	Artist Bio:	The artist Ishida Waka (石田和歌) is one of the few female painters in what has traditionally been a male-dominated profession. She is primarily known as a painter, but some of her works were published in the woodblock print format by the publisher Yuyudo in the 1970s and 80s. In the 1970s and 80s her works were regularly exhibited at the Takashimaya Department Store in Tokyo. A collection of her works was published in 1991 under the title "石田和歌画集" (Ishida Waka Artworks Collection).
