Description


Japanese woodblock print, Pieter Irwin Brown. This is a beautiful original woodblock print by Brown, dating from about 1936. It depicts the temple at Jehol in a snowstorm. The print is fairly large, about 12 x 20 plus full margins. Nice condition but for a faint discoloration to the image center right. It is very even, and fainter than it appears in the scan, so not a major distraction at all. The print is pencil signed lower right.
