Impression excellent - very good … embossed, woodgrains visible on the background
Colors excellent - very good
Condition very good … light toning, slightly soiled, full margined, not backed. Left Sheet: slight water stain on the bottom left.
Description Battle between Japanese and Russian forces to take the control over a stone bridge. The Russo-Japanese war woodblock prints were not produced as many as the Sino-Japanese war prints. By then, the woodblock prints for the purpose of news reporting were largely replaced by other mass-production methods.
