Note that there may be some inaccuracies: Thursday, 15 June 2006 渡辺省亭●美人図●肉筆 紙本 額装 　 渡辺省亭（1851嘉永4年－1918大正7年）享年68歳。【美術年鑑評価額400万円】江戸に生まれる。菊池容斎の門で絵を学び始めたが、容斎の師風墨守を嫌う教育により、独自の道を模索し、画風を形成していった。明治11年パリ万博で受賞。同年渡仏、3年間フランスに滞在して勉学した。帰国後花鳥画を多く描き春陽堂『美術世界』では編集者として当代一流の彫師五島徳次郎、摺師吉田市松を要して、美術品として格調高い木版画集を作り上げた、その大胆、豪快な常識の枠を超えた木版画はヨーロッパに輸出され、西洋の多くの画家がその構図を学んだ。竹内棲鳳、小原古邨と共に明治後期の日本を代表する優れた絵師である。 この作品は、肉筆により美人図が描かれております。時代による蔵ジミ・多少の荒れ等ございますが比較的状態の良い作品で、額（アクリル入）は多少のスレはございますが状態は良好です。尚、鑑定等は受けておりませんので、写真によりご判断の上、ご入札の程よろしくお願い致します。 ☆サイズ☆ 約【縦94cm幅51cm厚み2.5cm・（画）85cm×43cm】
