The following information was taken from the original web listing of this artwork. Note that there may be some inaccuracies:

Fumio Fujita (1933 - ); A modern woodblock print artist born in Japan in 1933. Fujita was a student at the Musashino College of Fine Arts. Fujita’s prints tend towards nature subjects with many designs of variations of birch trees- a signature Fujita design. His prints are usually in an attractive color palette of beautiful contrasts without being too bold. Fujita’s prints are all pencil signed and numbered limited editions, look for that information in our auctions of his works. Fujita’s works are becoming increasing collectable especially some of his earlier designs and his works are thought to be a good area of investment by many dealers in Japan.
