DESCRIPTION:
The Courtier and poet, Ariwara no Yukihara, and two Awabi divers. (In fact, the sisters Murasame and Matsukaze).

PUBLISHER:
Kobayashi Tetsujirô.

CONDITION:
A residual water stain to right edge of left sheet, areas of slight soiling to lower part of left sheet, some overall trimming, a tear to upper part of right sheet (expertly restored). Right sheet only retains Japanese album backing. Fine impression with fresh colour. Extensive application of mica (silver dust). One of Yoshitoshi's finest designs in the diptych format.
