Condition very good … paper toning, toning lines around the image edges, a vertical crease on the left side of the lower margin, slight creases on the margins.
Description The front entrance of the old US embassy in Yokohama, Japan. Brown painted the scenes of Japan, China and Korea in 1930s which caught the eyes of Adachi Toyohisa (1902-82) of Adachi Publishing Co.. Only 20 woodblock prints have been known as Brown's. He had his formal art education from the Royal Academy in Amsterdam.
