Note that there may be some inaccuracies: Monday, 6 February 2006 You are bidding on an original Japanese woodblock print “ Flower” signed by the famous Taisho/Showa woodblock artist Zengetsu and published by Uchida Printmaker. Zengetsu is best known for his woodblock prints of flowers and other plant life. The size of this woodblock print is 15 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches. The artist’s signature and the printmaker Uchida’ s chop mark are at the lower right corner of the woodblock print. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. This woodblock print is laid down to a cardboard. All four borders (margins) of the print are intact. Except for some very minor light foxing in the borders, which do not affect the image, this woodblock print is in excellent condition.
