Subject: Three bijin and a maidservant in conversation on the engawa of a grand Edo house. The room behind them seen in unusual ukiy-e perspective, giving the print a three-dimensional quality. A fine and rare Kiyonaga.
Publisher: Nishimuraya Yohachi (Eijudo)
Date: c.1780's
Condition: Full size with margins. Horizontal fold-mark. Some wormage. Minor marks and flaws, but generally very good state for a print from this early period.
Colour: Very good with minor fading
Impression: Fine with gauffrage |
