Description Portrait of the bunraku puppet "Shizuka Gozen". Shizuo Nishisawa was famous for his exquisite and highly skilled intaglio, colored-etching works especially the ones depicting Bunraku puppets. In 1983, the Nobel Prize Foundation in Sweden asked Nishizawa to make a print in commemoration of the first Japanese Nobel laureat for literature, Kawabata Yasunari.
