The Silk Makers

Subject: A courtesan and her attendants in a silk factory. Like most of Choki's designs, very elegant and very rare.

Publisher: Tsutaya Jusaburo

Date: 1790's

Condition: Full size. Some repaired wormholes. Stains. Minor wear, soils, marks and flaws. Generally fair state for a print from this early period.

Colour: Good with some fading

Impression: Fine with gauffrage
