Hi Ross,

Yes, I had seen the other print as well which is what led me to the Shiro question.

I also have some postcard size geese prints and had a long-tailed rooster print as well (until I traded it to Aaron Packman) by Takemura with this same signature. At first I thought they might be Sozan's given the style, but it remains a mystery. Clearly this mystery artist was versatile and talented.

Artist Bio: 
Published via Takemura Hideo in the 1930s. We originally read the signature scrawl as 彰世 (Akiyo) but a recently discovered print has an artist seal that clearly reads 朝花 (Choka) - see item 47147 in the database.
