Condition very good … paper toning, some creases on the lower right, a light horizontal center fold, brown spot on the lower right margin, mounting residue on the upper margin verso.
Description Horses look like enjoying the wind over a green field. Fujio was famous for his semi-abstract depiction of horses. He was a founder of the prestigious Ichiyokai in 1955. He received numerous awards and some of his paintings are in the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art. His works are relatively rare because many were lost due to the air strikes over Tokyo during W.W.II.
Note Carver Hino (He was active in 1930s), Printer Shinnou.
