Artist: Toyokuni I
Format: Oban Diptych: each sheet 14.75" x 10" approx

Subject: On the right the Kabuki actor Segawa Senjo I in a bijin role with a candle-light in her right hand and on the left Ichikawa Omezo I as her husband, watching rats consuming a handscroll.

Publisher: Unread

Date: 1800's

Condition: Full size. The two sheets united by Japanese album backing paper. Some wear and soils. Rubbed with paper losses at edges. Fair state.

Colour: Good with some fading and oxidation of the mercurial orange color.

Impression: Fine
