Hao Ping is a talented woodblock artist with concern on history and minority culture in south-eastern China. His first woodcut exhibition was held after "cultural revolution" and then he became more and more influential in the modern Chinese printmaking. His woodblock prints feature colorful and fascinating folklore of the ethnic minorities of Yunan province where is also his birth place.
