Description "Dusk (2)". A wonderful design, full of mistery, fantasy and imagination. We are reminded of Sainte-Exupéry's short novel of "The Little Prince", who travels from one planet to another. The curved horizon is a design "trick" used in several compositions by Lü Min to create the feeling of a "Shangri-la" land on a planet different from earth. The fine color gradations and color shades enforce the magic of this design.
Note Lü Min was selected by the Muban Foundation in London for the collection of 60 representative woodblock prints by leading contemporary Chinese printmakers as the number 29 in the portfolio.
