A fine Japanese woodblock print by JOKATA KAISEKI, ca. 1929 from a series of 12 prints of Mt. Fuji. This print shows a village with people preparing for a festival. This series of prints was produced from blocks carved by Kawatsura Yoshio. The print is in horizontal oban format, measuring 14 X 10 ins. It has some minor wrinkles on the upper edges that will be hidden with a mat.

日本画家。明治15年(1882)岡山県生。名は耀慶。関西学院卒。巨勢小石に師事､女婿となる。渡仏し､サロン・ドートンヌに入選。のち木版画も手掛けた。昭和８年（1933）存、歿年未詳。
