山川秀峰        日本画家        明治31年 京都にて生(~昭和19年 47歳)        池上秀畝・鏑木清方に師事。        清方門で 深水・寺島紫明と並び称された。        深水と青衿会主宰・東都画壇での美人画発展に功。 【山川秀峰】1898-1944 大正-昭和時代前期の日本画家。 鏑木清方,池上秀畝にまなぶ。昭和3年「安倍野」,5年「大谷武子姫」が帝展特選。美人画を得意とし,伊東深水と青衿社をおこした。47歳。京都出身。本名は嘉雄。
