Artist: Yoshitoshi
Format: Oban tate-e: 14.75" x 10"

Subject: A housewife of the Bunsei era (1818-1830) leaning forward with her back bared, receiving burning moxa treatment on her back. One of the most important designs from the set.

Publisher: Tsunashima Kamekichi

Date: 10th day 3rd month, 1888

Condition: Full size with margins on all sides. Pre-dating the 1st album edition, so no album folds. A small, light stain in the background. Minor marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation.

Colour: Fine early colors

Impression: Fine 1st state of the 1st edition with 3-color cartouche and yellow colored publisher's and engraver's seal.
