Format: Oban triptych: each sheet: 15.5" x 10.75"

Subject: Among Goyo's supreme achievements was the supervision and assistance in production of forty-eight of Utamaro's finest designs using the highest quality materials and craftsmen available in 1920. Each print from this limited edition set was produced with elaborate care. The result is a set of Utamaro's designs that would have amazed the great master himself. Each print bears the production seal of Goyo. The edition was limited to 100 copies of each design. We are selling the complete set, individually. It is numbered 26 of the edition of 100. With each print we will supply a copy of the original translation of the print titles in the series, dated by Goyo. The set has justly been described as the finest reproductions ever made.

Date: 9th year of Taisho, 7th of April, 1920

Condition: Fine colors. Full size. Very minor soils, marks and flaws. A pinhole in each corner on each sheet. Generally fine state of preservation.

Impression: Superb impression with extensive use of gauffrage and silver mica background.
