Description
"Kamakura Kencho-ji" (Kencho Temple in Kamakura). Two people are walking away from the large, red gate of Kencho temple on a snow falling day.
A rarely seen design by the little-known artist, Satohisa - Risei. During the W.W.II in Japan, the paper was rationed and the demand for the art prints was almost ceased, therefore, the woodblock print production had dwindled to a trickle.

From Tosh:

SATO HISA (里寿 or 里春)?

As for Baba Seizando (馬場静山堂), this printing company was active from
1945 at least up to 1985/11 when celebrated its 40th anniversary in Tokyo.
If this company could be operated under Baba Nobuhiko (馬場信彦)in Tokyo, I
might speculate that Baba Shizuka (馬場 静) could be a preceeding founder
(father or relative of Nobuhiko) of the company (probably stating in Kyoto)
named after his personal name. He passed away in 1936 at his age of 64 at
my comprehensive directroy listing as a carver. Baba Nobuhiko was listed
asone of consulting members of Japan Woodblock Carver Association (Nihon
Mokuhann Kougei Kumiai-"日本木版工芸組合") as of 1958/04. I will keep
detecting more information on this publisher.
